Having a Jumpin' Good Time!

This past weekend we went to Albuquerque to meet our good friends Becca and Chris's new baby girl Abby. She is such a cutie and compared to our Brynnah she is so so tiny. Granted she is two months younger than Brynnah, but our Brynnah is definitely a healthy little girl.

We were going to go to Colorado to see them but they have so much snow that they needed a break and we were not really looking forward to 80" of snow (much to Kylie's dismay). It was still pretty cold in Albuquerque, but we managed to have a great time visiting. We got there Friday night, after a long drive with three children, one potty training. Never again will we travel while potty training!! A five hour drive turned into a 7 hour drive, thanks to Allyson, oh and Dad's detour. (It really helps if you know the right name of the exit your looking for.)

The first night was not so good, kids never sleep well when traveling! Saturday, we all went shopping, yippie! Becca and I don't get into town much due to where we live. So many stores and restaurants, so little time!! The boys at least got to go to Sportsman's Warehouse and they got to pick lunch. So don't feel sorry for them.

Sunday, we went to a friends' little boys 3rd birthday party at a gymnasium. We know people everywhere! Dayna went to school with Chris at CSU so we met her and her husband Matt and son Ryan a few years ago and now they live in Albuquerque. We had so much fun. The adults had just as much fun as the kids. The Foam pit was the biggest attraction as you can tell from the pictures above. You run on this trampoline runway and jump into a huge trampoline pit filled with foam blocks, huge fun!! It is a little difficult to get out of but we all had a blast. Then of course we had to watch the Charger game, so sad. Chris is still grieving! All well,maybe next year. Monday we came home, again not fun traveling with a potty trainer, but we made it. Kylie of course wanted to stay,and preceded to tell us how much she hated where we live. Won't be the last time I'm sure.
